Julie & Chad Mashburn farm 23-acres along the South Fork of the Kentucky River.  The Mashburns have raised six hogs for the past three years and would like to add four cattle to the farm.  With the SOAR Farm Loan of $7,500, the couple will a 20’x40’ wooden building for animal shelter and equipment storage.  They will also improve fencing and run a water line.
